Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering of University of the Aegean

Bailas G. Konstantinos. Βorn in Cyclades, Greece and works since 2002 as a Laboratory Teaching Personnel (LTP) with a field of knowledge in CAD & CAM Systems at the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering, (University of the Aegean). He is an Electrical Engineer graduate of Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia. He is also graduate of the MSc in “Interactive Design of Industrial Products and Systems” of the Aegean University and a PhD Candidate since 2017 in the subject of "Production of small or large-scale industrial products using Additive Manufacturing technologies, parametric design and mechanical analysis methods". His research interests focus on the design of industrial products using parametric Computer Aided Design systems and additive manufacturing technologies. He has many publications in international scientific conferences and journals and has been a judge in two. He holds a Diploma in Patent from HIPO (Hellenic Industrial Property Organization) with number 1009234 "Device for Monitoring & Performing Musical Texts by People with Visual Impairment", He is a founding member of the Studio inceptica team that designs and manufactures industrial products for the blind people. He is also a writer of two scientific books in parametric design methodology. He has taken part in several projects on behalf of the Aegean University as a leading designer and manufacturer of many products for companies and organisations as Cyclon, 4th Photonics, Escher Museum, Helbio S.A, Incubator of the Municipality of Athens and many others.
