PhD Candidate of the Department of Environment of the University of the Aegean

Koutsellis Leonidas is an environmental engineer, a graduate of the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Technical University of Crete and he is a PhD candidate in the Department of Environment of the University of the Aegean since 2021. He is also studying at a Postgraduate Program of the Aegean university in Global Environmental Change, Management and Technology in the field of Ecological Engineering, Energy and Climate Change. He holds pedagogical training of the EPPAIK program of ASPAITE. Within the framework of the undergraduate study program, he participated in an internship at the control laboratory of wastewater treatment plant in Mytilene. His research interests focus on the utilization of liquid wastes for the production of biogas with anaerobic digestion and the addition of conductive materials and the application of low voltage current.
