Dr. Nikolas Zacharopoulos holds a doctorate from the Materials Science and Engineering Department of the University of Michigan. His research is focused on the microstructural features in metals and polymers and their influence on mechanical properties by means of computer simulation. Recently, he has shown interest in the mechanics of foams (natural materials).
